Cuc Phuong was made into a forest reserve and in 1962, and was consecrated by President Ho Chi Minh. Human habitation before the park’s creation, 7,000-12,000 years ago.
Day 1: Hanoi- Cuc Phuong – Trekking (B,L,D)
8.30, we pick you up from your hotel for Cuc Phuong national park with 150Km, and 3.5hours driving
11.00. Arrival at the park, then check in and have lunch
13.30, you’ll start trekking 6Km with 2 hours through the forest to learn about the diverse flora and fauna of the park. You’ll also make stops and photo at “Oldest tree” Cho Chi in the forest. It was supposed one thousand years as info from archaeologists.
16.00, walking up 10 minutes to visit “Prehistoric cave” Dong Nguoi Xua for around 30- 45 minutes.
18.30- 19.00, Enjoy the dinner and staying in the forest.
Day 2: Cuc Phuong- Van Long boating- Hanoi (B,L)
8.30, after breakfast and check out the room, with an easy walk to “Endangered primate rescue center” where local expert will introduce about this special place and see difference species of langurs, lorises, and gibbons. Type of leaf-eating monkey.
Next visit “Turtle conservation center” TCC as part of a larger conservation initiative focused on Cuc Phuong national park. Today, the TCC remains the flagship for efforts to protect tortoise and freshwater turtles in Vietnam.
12.00- 12.30. Have a lunch with local dishes.
13.30- 14.00, visit “Van Long Nature Reserve” for an hour rowing on the bamboo boat.
15.00, car pick up and transfer back to Hanoi
17.00- 17.30, finish the tour in your hotel.
